Chapter Twenty-Eight: Minted Lane Teething Necklace

7:30 PM

I am so sorry it has been almost a month since my last post. I felt like each time I sat down to write a post, my son decided against it. Sometimes us mom's have to put our little one first which is perfectly fine. But I am ready to tell you about an awesome product Kambryn and I have been trying out for a whole month now!

I found an adorable small business on Instagram named Minted Lane who makes handmade necklaces and bangles along with pacifier clips and other awesome goodies. Everything is washable and safe for your littles to chew on, which is something that had stood out to me and made me fall in love with the products. I ordered a Sophie Silicone Teething Necklace  in the Cream-Mint-Grey color.

I wanted something cute that I could wear with almost anything and that Kambryn would enjoy chewing on since teething has not been a fun experience for us both. The first day that I wore the teething necklace, Kambryn had first noticed it while he was nursing. He looked up and grabbed a hold of the necklace and continued to enjoy his lunch. As most nursing mothers know, babies tend to grab and sometimes pinch your skin while nursing so it was nice to have something for him to grab and keep his attention while nursing. Talk about saving my breasts :)
Once he started chewing on it's soft Foodgrade Silicone Beads, he fell in love. It helps keep him occupied and also keeps him away from pulling and chewing on my hair. I am so thankful for this necklace because it relieves some of his teething pain which results in a happy baby boy and a happy mommy.
As you can see in the photo above, Kambryn loves to chew on anything he can fit into his mouth, including my arm lol.

What I loved the most about this product is that it is safe for my son. The Silicone Beads are US, CPSA, CPSIA, and FDA compliant. They are free of BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Leads, Cadmium, and other toxic substances. It is also easily washed. You simply wash the necklace with warm water and mild dish soap and then hang or lay flat to dry.
There is a safety caution of course, which is to not leave your child unattended with the product(s). As a mother I have learn that anything can happen in the matter of seconds. I am scared to blink my eyes sometimes. It is always wise to keep an eye on our babies when they have anything in their hands and mouth.

I love everything about this small business and I know that you will too. If you would like to check out some of their products, click Here to visit Minted Lane's Esty Shop. Use a special code "INDIA20" to receive 20% off of your purchase! How awesome is that?
